Job Hunt
When I concluded that I was leaving my company I started freaking out. What was I going to do? Where was I going to work? I madly applied to a fair number of companies which looked promising or interesting.
Then I reached Zen.
I needed time off, a much needed reset was in order, and then I'd worry about finding something. I concluded there was nothing better than being unemployed in the Summer in Seattle.
So, I put off further job hunting and started planning a vacation.
Then a company I had applied to called and wanted to interview me. I accepted, and (predictably) nailed the interview.
After some long back-and-forth, and a road trip to Yosemite, I accepted their offer. I start this Friday.
